Rubber‑flap check valve is a swing‑type soft‑seated non‑return valve with flange connection. Composed of body, bonnet and rubber flap,
it operates automatically by medium pressure and flap self‑weight without external actuation. Its ductile iron QT450‑10 body is internally
and externally epoxy‑coated for corrosion resistance. The reinforced rubber flap features steel‑plate and nylon‑fabric substrate for
anti‑erosion and long service life. The inclined‑face seat with short closing stroke effectively mitigates pump‑shutdown water‑hammer
impact.
With full‑bore passage for low head loss and less debris accumulation, the flap opens under forward pressure and closes rapidly by
self‑weight and reverse pressure to stop backflow and protect pumps. Simple‑structured for easy maintenance; the rubber flap can be
replaced separately without removing the whole valve.
Preferably installed horizontally, it serves for municipal water supply & drainage, fire‑fighting pump outlets, circulating‑water and reservoir bypass pipelines. Suitable for oil products with modified flap material. Flow direction shall follow the valve‑body arrow. Standard type is
not applicable for vertically upward pipelines.

1. Excellent Anti-backflow and Water Hammer Reduction
The inclined sealing design enables short closing stroke and rapid shutoff when the pump stops, effectively reducing water hammer
impact and protecting pipeline and pump equipment.
2. Low Flow Resistance and Anti-clogging Performance
Full-bore straight flow passage ensures smooth medium flow with minimal head loss, preventing sediment and dirt accumulation
and adapting to water and sewage working conditions.
3. High Strength and Erosion Resistance
The rubber flap is compound reinforced with steel plate and nylon fabric, featuring strong rigidity, anti-erosion performance and long
service life under continuous water scouring.
4. Simple Structure and Convenient Maintenance
The rubber flap can be replaced separately by opening the valve bonnet without removing the entire valve from the pipeline, greatly
saving maintenance time and cost.
5. Automatic and Energy-saving Operation
The valve opens and closes automatically by medium pressure and self-weight of the flap. No spring or electric drive is required,
ensuring stable and failure-free operation.
