Tilting check valve

Tilting Disc Check Valve (also known as a Slanted Disc Check Valve) is designed with a double-offset slanted seat mechanism, engineered specifically for municipal water supply, raw water transmission, wastewater treatment, and industrial cooling networks.

By positioning the pivot axis off-center, the disc opens smoothly with minimal forward differential pressure. Upon flow reversal, the disc utilizes its offset gravity and backflow forces to swing swiftly back onto the slanted seat, achieving rapid one-way isolation, minimizing backflow impact, and effectively mitigating water hammer in high-energy pumping systems.

Double Offset & Slanted Seat Design:

The inclined seat reduces the angular stroke required for closure (shorter closing stroke). Combined with the double-eccentric pivot, it achieves rapid

“non slam” closing response before the flow velocity drops to zero, avoiding heavy valve slap and pipe vibration common in standard swing check

valves.

Low Head Loss & Hydrodynamic Flow Path:

Optimized internal body geometry provides a smooth, unobstructed flow passage, drastically reducing the resistance coefficient ($K$-factor) and head

loss, thereby saving long-term pumping energy costs.

Hydraulic Damping & Counterweight System (Optional):

Can be equipped with an external lever and counterweight or a hydraulic damping cylinder (single/double speed). The hydraulic dampener cushions the

final phase of closure, delivering smooth, slam-free operation even during sudden pump trips.

Heavy-Duty Anti-Corrosion Coating:

Internal and external surfaces are coated with electrostatically applied Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) with a minimum dry film thickness of 250 µm, meeting

stringent drinking water approvals and withstand aggressive sewage environments.

Low Maintenance & Remote Monitoring:

Equipped with self-lubricating shaft bearings and a dual O-ring shaft seal for long maintenance-free operation. Supports optional limit switches/position

sensors for real-time remote valve status monitoring.
