Single orifice air release valve

Single Ball Air Release Valve, also known as single-port automatic air release valve, is a float-type automatic air vent valve. It adopts one stainless steel float ball as the core operating component. Installed at the highest point of water supply, drainage and heating pipelines, it automatically discharges accumulated air inside pipelines to eliminate airlock and air resistance. When negative pressure forms in the pipeline, it can intake air automatically to protect the pipeline from collapsing under negative pressure. It is a common small valve for clean water pipelines, with QB1 as its typical model.

It is an automatic float air vent valve installed at pipeline high points. With one SS304 float ball inside, it automatically discharges trapped air to eliminate airlock. It will intake air when negative pressure appears to prevent pipeline deformation. Ductile iron body with epoxy coating, simple and compact structure, easy installation and low maintenance. Widely used for water supply, heating and irrigation clean water pipelines.


1. Application Scenarios

Municipal water supply pipelines, building heating, central air conditioning circulating water, agricultural irrigation pipelines, pump house outlet pipelines, small industrial clean water pipelines, solar hot water systems.

2. Notes

It must be installed vertically at the highest point of the pipeline. A gate valve is recommended before the valve for convenient maintenance and disassembly.

Media containing sediment and impurities may cause float ball jamming and seal failure. Ordinary single ball type is not recommended for sewage pipelines.

Not suitable for high-pressure long-distance main water transmission pipelines. Compound double ball air release valve is preferred for high-pressure working conditions.
