Threaded Y strainer

The threaded Y‑type strainer is an inline filtration device for small‑bore pipelines. It features a distinctive Y‑shaped valve‑body structure with internal‑thread connection. No flange‑bolt connection is required. It is suitable for pipelines with small pipe diameters and limited installation space, and is generally installed upstream of branch pipes, small‑sized water pumps, pressure reducing valves, solenoid valves, flow meters and other equipment. As the medium flows through the strainer, the stainless‑steel screen intercepts solid contaminants such as sediment, rust particles, welding slag and scale inside the pipeline. It protects downstream pipe fittings and equipment from abrasion, jamming and clog‑induced damage, ensuring stable operation of the fluid system. Valve‑body material options include grey cast iron, ductile iron and stainless steel. Screens with different filtration fineness can be selected according to working conditions.
